Home of the delicious AGG ROLLS!!!
It's more than an Egg Roll...It's an AGG ROLL! "AGG" was derived from my nickname "Aggie". Growing up Filipino meant growing up in the kitchen and learning about my Filipino heritage as I watched my mom roll dozens of egg
rolls and make dipping sauces from scratch. As a teenager, I never really paid
full attention to my mom's amazing cooking skills, nor did I realize her passion
for elevating food to the next level. However, after she passed away, eating the dishes she often prepared brought great comfort to me...especially egg rolls...but everything I ate paled in comparison to her cooking as I discovered that both restaurant and store bought egg rolls were not the best quality and unsatisfying. It either had too much cabbage, too much fat, too many
preservatives, high in sodium, too greasy, or it just didn't taste good! That's
when I started to make my own and I was just as creative as my mom...
I dabbled with different fillings and dipping sauces inspired by my own Filipino culture as well as other ethnicities.
Each AGG ROLL has a personal story and is handrolled with high quality ingredients and no artificial ingredients or preservatives...just lots of love!
The original AGG ROLL is handcrafted with a generous filling of lean pork
and water chestnuts in a light golden crispy wrapper (The first type of egg
roll my mom taught me how to make)...After years of making these addictive
rolls for family gatherings, other savory and sweet AGG ROLLS joined
the party! Plus, my favorite savory dishes and sweets that I couldn't leave
off the menu...and Voilà!...I rolled into something SO FORKING GREAT!
